Alice Cooper The Revenge of Alice Cooper

  • Earmusic
  • Rock
For the first time in over 50 years, Alice Cooper and the original band reunite to bring rock ‘n’ roll back from the shadows! The Revenge of Alice Cooper is a high-voltage journey into vintage horror and classic ’70s shock rock. Together, they’ve created an album packed with the sound, energy, and mischief that made them legendary. This album throws you straight into the golden era of Killer, Billion Dollar Babies, School’s Out, and Love It to Death—packed with electrifying riffs, raw energy, and Alice’s signature storytelling. From the venomous bite of Black Mamba to the rebellious charge of Wild Ones, and the soft, haunting melodies of See You on the Other Side, every track feels like a lost rock ‘n’ roll classic.

Cory Hanson I Love People

  • Drag City
  • Alternative, Folk, Psychedelic, Rock
With a room fulla fine pickers and a set of Hollywood orchestral cues to kill for, Cory Hanson proclaims I Love People! Far Caspian Autofiction

  • UK Dance To The Radio
  • Alternative, Indie
On his new album Autofiction, Far Caspian's Joel Johnston is learning to make peace with the cards he’s been dealt. Following his Crohn’s disease diagnosis in 2021, Johnston felt stuck mourning the loss of his life before, and struggling to cope with not only his new reality, but also an ongoing battle with OCD and anxiety. Autofiction finds the Irish musician discovering the tools he needs to keep moving forward. “I’m now at the point where I don't really let it define me,” he says. “The lyric ‘your mind changed from a fear to a song’ [on ‘Lough’] is my expression of freedom: to no longer be held down by something you’ve got used to. I’m trying to not even make sense of it all, but just live in it, and be grateful for the things I do have.”

Indigo De Souza Precipice

  • Loma Vista Recordings
  • Alternative, Indie rock, Pop
There are moments standing on a high ledge where wild space beckons. In that moment, instinct stirs: “What if I just jumped?” It’s been described as “the call of the void,” an experience somehow more primal than even feeling or urge. On new album Precipice (Loma Vista Recordings), Indigo De Souza looks over the creative and spiritual cliff and leaps, taking control of difficult memories and charged emotions via pop bombast and diaristic clarity, and finding a stronger self through the journey.

Irvine Welsh Men in Love

  • Port Sunshine Rec.
  • R&B, Soul, Disco, Funk
Men in Love is a collaborative concept album by Irvine Welsh and The Sci-Fi Soul Orchestra, exploring the complexities of love, relationships, and the human condition. The album blends classic Motown and disco influences with contemporary electronic dance production, creating a unique and powerful sound that is both nostalgic and fresh. From soaring anthems to intimate ballads, Men in Love takes the listener on a journey through the highs and lows of romance, celebrating the power of connection, vulnerability, and the enduring search for love in a chaotic world. The album will be released concurrently with Welsh's new novel, also titled Men in Love. The book is a sequel to Welsh's seminal work, Trainspotting, and continues the story of Renton, Sick Boy, Spud, Begbie, and other beloved characters. The album serves as a sonic companion to the novel, with it's themes, lyrics, and musical atmosphere reflecting the experience and inner turmoil of it's characters. The album also introduces The Sci-Fi Soul Orchestra, a unique musical entity with their own unique music releases in the pipeline" BUT, WHY DISCO? "In uncertain times, dominated by the ascendancy of soul dead oligarchs, their corrosive technology and looting economics, the great positive constant for humanity remains our infinite capacity for love. Music is still the medium by which we bypass their reductive, low frequency world, and if we can sing and dance and express our collective love in joy and rapture, we render their pathetic schemes the irrelevant sideshows they deserve to be. One of the greatest musical forms in delivering that ecstasy has been discotheque music. No matter how confused our men (and women) have been in the quest for love, as we are forced to earn a living to pay for our fun, our real predilections are to party like it's 2099. So don't diss the disco, let's dance away the heartache or die trying, because nothing else makes any sense.

Madonna Veronica Electronica

  • Wea Int'l
  • Rock, Pop
Veronica Electronica, an eight-track companion to Ray of Light, was originally envisioned by Madonna as a remix album in 1998. The project was ultimately sidelined by the original album’s runaway success and the parade of hit singles that dominated the spotlight for more than a year. Ray of Light went on to sell over 16 million copies worldwide and earned Madonna four Grammy® Awards, including Best Pop Album. More than 25 years later, that long-rumored concept finally comes to life. The collection features newly edited versions of club remixes by Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone, along with the original demo of “Gone, Gone, Gone”—a previously unreleased recording produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels.

Night Moves Double Life

  • Domino Record Co
  • Alternative, Country, Electro, Pop, Sludge
Double Life, the fourth Night Moves album and first in six years, is a cozy and cool LP built largely from a string of very rough breaks that singer John Pelant and Night Moves have navigated in recent years. Pelant is the sort of songwriter who starts with the music—inspired of late by Glen Campbell and Bobby Caldwell, Cleaners from Venus and early ’90s country, Panda Bear and (as ever) Gram Parsons—and then writes lyrics only after he’s sat with the tune a spell. But this time, these songs are direct documents of Pelant’s life as he searches for silver linings or at least valuable meanings during a moment when very little seemed golden. Double Life is about moving through, not moving on.

Patty Griffin Crown of Roses

  • Pgm
  • Country
Patty Griffin’s new album, Crown of Roses, is a deeply personal and introspective work that explores themes of identity, nature, family, and womanhood. Emerging from a creative drought during the pandemic, Griffin—two-time Grammy winner and Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement honoree—found herself reevaluating the stories she’d long told herself. The result is an eight-track collection that is both sparse and emotionally rich, blending folk, Americana, and gospel blues. Produced by long-time collaborator Craig Ross, the album features contributions from trusted bandmates David Pulkingham and Michael Longoria, and a haunting vocal cameo from Robert Plant. Griffin's vocal approach changed after cancer treatment, leading her to embrace a softer, more intimate style that reflects the vulnerability and strength woven through the songs. Much of Crown of Roses is shaped by Griffin’s relationship with her late mother, whose love of music and nature left a lasting imprint. The album cover features her mother’s wedding photo, symbolizing their deepened bond in the last years of her life. Songs like “Born in a Cage” and “Way Up to the Sky” echo her mother’s observations of a vanishing natural world and Griffin’s own reckoning with mortality and legacy. Griffin also confronts her past efforts to understand and please men, ultimately shifting her creative focus toward women’s experiences. She calls this her first album primarily concerned with women’s stories, signaling a liberating perspective change. Reflecting on her artistic journey, Griffin shares, “The older you get, you just get sick of yourself staying stuck.” With Crown of Roses, Griffin offers a record that’s both grounded and transcendent—one that invites listeners to release old narratives, embrace new truths, and stay truly alive while they’re here.. 1. Back at the Start 2. Born in a Cage 3. The End 4. Long Time 5. All the Way Home 6. Way up to the Sky 7. I Know a Way 8. A Word

Post Animal IRON

  • Polyvinyl Records
  • Heavy rock, Pop rock, Rock
When Post Animal stepped into the studio for their new album Iron, it was the first time all six original members were in the studio together for nearly a decade. Three band members had recently relocated away from Chicago, not to mention Joe Keery having left the band in 2017 to focus on acting. In the end they started right back up at the beginning, rediscovering that uncompromising closeness of connection they all shared from those endless hours spent in practice spaces and the late-night diner runs that follow. The product of a few straight weeks together, Iron not only finds them reunited with Keery, but is the embodiment of 30 days of camaraderie and unbound musical exploration, their renewed connection ironclad. The album uses that honed edge to push and pull at genre threads, from synthpop to folk, vintage radio rock to twitchy psychedelia.IRON puts the listener directly into the room with the band, freewheeling and experimental yet played with precision. That atmosphere should be palpable as the band hits the road with Keery's Djo project, Wesley Toledo and Javi Reyes pulling double duty as well by working in his backing band-the whole group getting to spend even more time together. "All of these creative forces coming together, it was like iron sharpening iron," Dalton Allison says. "When we're in proximity with one another, we make each other better."Post Animal has generated over 80M catalog streams to date and has been featured in publications such as The FADER, Stereogum, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and Billboard. Post Animal has toured worldwide and has performed at major festivals including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Shaky Knees.

The Dirty Nil The Lash

  • Dine Alone Music Inc
  • Alternative, Indie, Punk, Rock
On their fifth album, The Lash, The Dirty Nil strips back their signature flash and colour for something raw and relentless. Inspired by brutal Italian bronze reliefs and medieval aesthetics, the Hamilton, Ontario band embraced a stark black-and-white visual style, ditching their previous vibrant palettes for spikes, skulls, and knives. Recording with local engineer Vince Solivari, the band captured a more urgent and unfiltered sound in just two weeks at Boxcar Sound. Tracks like "Rock N' Roll Band" vent frustration about industry struggles, while "Gallop of the Hounds" unleashes searing riffs and pounding beats fuelled by emotional tension. Yet amid the chaos, quieter moments like "Spider Dream" reveal the band's more delicate side. The Lash is a cathartic reset—one that trades polish for grit, delivering The Dirty Nil at their most visceral and honest.
