Paris hails from San Francisco and was catapulted onto the national hip-hop scene with his hit single and album The Devil Made Me Do It, prompting the formation of his Guerrilla Funk Recordings and Filmworks label. Since doing so, he has sold millions of records featuring music reflecting the revolutionary sensibilities of collective upward mobility and self-defense, providing scathing critiques of America's racial history and social and political machinations.
