No Heart - FOR THE REAL ONES - Having formed in 2015, No Heart feels like part of the old-guard at this point, having already released three 7"s, two 12" LPs and three split 12"s previously. This is all the more impressive with the fact that for about 2 of those 10 years, due to covid, the band was dormant. So creativity is never in short supply with these lads from Canada's garden city (Victoria), nor are they lacking an ability and desire to evolve musically. Including members of SUBWAY THUGS, EMERGENCY and LAST CRUSADE, their roots are firmly in the Oi! Genre, however No Heart cranks out a version of Oi! #that is far less of a cliche and more of an original sound that is as much mod/glam driven as it is punk and Oi! Previous releases have included a cover version from THE JAM, and on this release there is a cracking rendition of a slightly obscure SLADE song.
