Morgan Myles’ new album Laced was recorded with GRAMMY-winning producer Ross Hogarth (Van Halen, Ziggy Marley). David Grissom (John Mellencamp, the Allman Brothers Band) served as band leader and guitarist, on the project alongside bassist Jorgen Carlsson (Gov’t Mule), drummer Jimmy Paxson (Fleetwood Mac), and guitarist and mandolin player Jedd Hughes (Rodney Crowell). Myles Co-wrote the entire album with an impressive list of songwriters including David Grissom, Gary Nichols (former lead vocalist of The SteelDrivers, following Chris Stapleton), Brian White (Rodney Atkins, Jason Aldean), Ethan Hulse (Zach Williams, Tauren Wells), Jeff Cohen (Josh Groban, The Band Perry), and Jeff Trott (Sheryl Crow).
“There is no Auto-Tune on this record,” Myles emphasizes. “Everything is real. For me, the most important part is that when people hear this record, they come to a show, and it sounds like me. It’s not fabricated.”
