Limited clear vinyl. Meshuggah perfected their signature sound on 1998's Chaosphere, and Nothing made it... Meshuggah-ier. The Swedish band's fourth album is the one when guitarists Fredrik Thordendal and Mårten Hagström leveled up from seven to eight-string guitars, and the rhythm section slowed the tempos down to form uncanny, neck-snapping grooves - all together creating the template for djent and making Meshuggah an even weirder, more uniquely obliterating band than they were before. Everyone needs a copy of this monster on their shelf.
