John Faye The Long Game

John Faye's new solo album, The Long Game, is introspective and anthemic - a ten-song expedition into melodic, memorable, and vulnerable songwriting.

During his three-decade career, John Faye has been a mainstay of the greater Philadelphia-area music community. As the voice and primary songwriter of the Caulfields (signed to A&M in the mid-90's and had the modern rock radio hit "Devil's Diary"), IKE (whose song "Into Philadelphia" has been played on WMMR for nearly 20 years), John & Brittany (who were staples on Sirius XM's Little Steven's Underground Garage), and his award-winning solo work, Faye's catalog has garnered national and international airplay, song placements in TV and film, and has landed him on stages with over 60 national acts, including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees REM, Bon Jovi, Bo Diddley, Joan Jett, and the Ramones.

John's memoir, The Yin and the Yang of it All: Rock 'n' Roll Memories from the Cusp, as told by a Mixed-Up, Mixed-Race Kid, published in 2023 by Advantage/Forbes, is an Amazon #1 Best Seller.

The new solo album The Long Game is simultaneously introspective and anthemic - a ten-song expedition into melodic, memorable, and vulnerable songwriting, self-produced by Faye, primarily in his home studio. His recent singles have received airplay on Philadelphia Triple A radio giant WXPN, where "Asking For A Friend" - his self-described "anthem for social media addicts" - was added into regular rotation. The album is available on 180g violet vinyl, released in partnership with David Uosikkinen's ITP Entertainment.
