The Light Inside, The Dark Outside is Italian ambient duo ILUITEQ's third full-length album. Crafted mid pandemic, it inevitably became influenced by the times' uncertainty and isolation. The pandemic has had such a negative influence on us, so ILUITEQ looked inward as a means to nourish the good (or light) within them. Such "light" is reflected in the album's widescreen and hopefully ardent ambient. In contrast to their previous album, The Loss of Wilderness, a strong sense of motion affects The Light Inside, The Dark Outside's optimism. The Light Inside, The Dark Outside is an evolution for the duo, themed only by their inner need for something optimistic.
