Henrik Appel Humanity

The Stockholm, Sweden based artist Henrik Appel is back with his second solo album Humanity, out January 8, 2021 via PNKSLM Recordings (ShitKid, Les Big Byrd, Yung etc), the follow-up to his acclaimed 2018 debut LP Burning Bodies. Working again with producer Marin â''Konieâ' Ehrencrona (Viagra Boys, Tribulation, Refused etc), Humanity is building on the stripped-down and intimate songwriting Appel worked with on the debut, this time expanding his sonic palette to include more instrumentation, at times getting closer to his previous work with local garage rock institutions Lion's Den and Martin Savage Gang, while keeping the intimate and honest atmosphere that brought Burning Bodies the attention of the likes of Under the Radar and KEXP.
