DOOM's unique avant-garde sound has captivated fans across genres. Their first major release, 'Killing Field... ', has been remastered and finally reissued on a 2-disc vinyl set!Since their debut in 1986, DOOM has continued to fascinate fans across time, nationality and genres with their unique and original sound. Following the record-breaking success of their first album 'NO MORE PAIN... ' (1987), this is the band's first major label release. The original was a five-song EP, and four omnibus tracks were added to the remastered CD. This analog reissue is the same as the reissued CD. While retaining theavant-garde taste shown in 'NO MORE PAIN... ', the sound production has improved dramatically, resulting in a very hard and metallic sound. The five songs on the EP were completed in two weeks, jamming for 6-8 hours a day at Victor's studio, which was also used by ANARCHY and REACTION at the time, and recorded in one week. Despite the rushed work, their individuality was not lost at all, and the use of a click makes the work very consistent. The four bonus tracks are two from 'VA / SKULL THRASH ZONE VOLUME 1' (1987), one from 'VA / DANCE 2 NOISE 003' (1992), and one (a cover of Kiss) from 'VA / DANCE 2 NOISE 006' (1993). The two tracks on side D ('Will Never End' and 'Parasite') are being released on vinyl for the first time.
