Calibro 35 Sandokan

The soundtrack of the new Sandokan series on vinyl, for which Calibro 35 wrote original, bespoke music, is conceived to accompany and define the narrative imagery of the series. Depicting a world inhabited by pirates, English colonists, the sovereign's troops, and tribal peoples, the music is meticulously tailored in it's themes and timbral palette, following the evolution of the story. Alongside the original score, the famous theme by the de Angelis brothers is reinterpreted in a modern key by Calibro 35, featuring the voice of Giovanni Succi: an unfolding of sonic worlds in which ethnic and classical elements coexist, shaping a new and contemporary musical imagination.
