Cream Colored Vinyl. Human connections are becoming rarer by the day, but Atta Boy has prepared for this moment since swapping favorite albums, running for School Council, and goofing around in middle school. Pulling their band name from a newspaper after eventually combining their skills to make music together in high school, LA band Atta Boy would never have expected those formative years to take them quite so far. "We've become this family unit; we've gotten closer, and the more we've made music together, the more necessary we've become in each other's lives," shares Eden Brolin (vocals, guitar) of the band's long-term and now, long-distance relationship. Alongside Dashel Thompson (keyboards), Freddy Reish (guitar/bass), and Lewis Pullman (drums) the four converge across time zones as Atta Boy; a place where anything is possible and communication is key. "A song's meaning once written will turn out differently once it's fleshed out... it can shift depending on where you are personally, physically, geographically." Three albums in (Out of Sorts, Big Heart Manners, Crab Park) and many miles later, arrives Silt - the newest of Atta Boy's transmissions to date.
