The 1950's were a time of changes and the music of the decade both reflected the cultural changes that were happening while still holding on to the societal norms of the past. Many of the traditional pop artists of the 1950's were interpreters of pop standards who would take the old wellknown songs and put their own individual style into it or they recorded soundtracks or movie related songs like Nat 'King' Cole's 'Mona Lisa', Frank Sinatra's 'Autumn In New York' The Andrews Sisters' 'I Can Dream, Can't I?', Peggy Lee's 'Golden Earrings', and the Chordettes' 'Mr. Sandman'. This genre was in the early fifties still greatly influenced by jazz, swing and big band. TRACKLIST: Side A 1. Frank Sinatra - Autumn In New York 2. Bing Crosby - It's Been A Long, Long Time 3.
