Anjunadeep Explorations marks one year since it's launch with a second vinyl sampler. It's parent label, Anjunadeep, has become 'one of dance music's ultimate tastemaker labels' (Billboard). Known for breaking global artists like Ben Bohmer, Lane 8, Tinlicker and Dusky, the label has a reputation as 'an A&R hotbed' (Resident Advisor).The 'Explorations' imprint is an evolution of the much-loved Various Artist EP series of the same name, which spanned 25 editions between 2016-2023 on Anjunadeep. Responsible for bringing through now-mainstay acts to the label such as Ben Bohmer, CRi, Luttrell, Rezident and Simon Doty, the series also featured underground talents like Theo Kottis, Sam Goku and Gacha Bakradze. Approaching 50 releases since launch last July, the imprint has hosted scores of label debuts, as well as returning familiar faces of Anjunadeep. This sophomore 12' sampler premieres six tracks true to the label's ethos; showcasing both rising label talent like Maty Owl and Klangsberg as well as esteemed acts implicit in Anjuna's history like Abakus (a.k.a Cinnamon Chasers) and dance music pioneer Tom Middleton.
