TimeFold is the new album by Trees Speak. This release sees the group expanding their musical horizons once more, from vast intergalactic landscapes to imaginary 1920s silent movie soundtracks, seamlessly blended with hypnotic motoric krautrock driving rhythms, angular post-punk, Stranger Things-esque synthesizer motifs, ambient sound sculptures and more to create a truly unique sound. // Trees Speak are based in Tucson, Arizona, comprised around the duo Daniel Martin Diaz and Damian Diaz. Their music is heavily influenced by the cosmic magic of the natural desert landscapes of Arizona, creating a unique and captivating sound that is both experimental and innovative. // ‘Trees Speak’ relates to the idea of future technologies storing information and data in trees and plants - using them as hard drives - and the idea that Trees communicate collectively. // Their prolific output for Soul Jazz Records began in 2020 with ‘Ohms’. TimeFold is their sixth album (in four years) for the label.
