HHBTM Records is excited to share The Primitives new single I Won't Care backed with Everybody Needs Somebody to Hate on 7 vinyl. This new single follows up their brilliant Don't Know Where to Start EP from 2023 that ended up on a lot of year end lists. The band are still cranking out tunes with their perfect blend of indiepop that mixes twee, jangle pop, and garage pop with endless hooks. They return their early DIY roots and the single is housed in a three color screen-printed sleeve and the single is limited to a one time pressing. The Primitives won hearts and minds in 1988 with their debut album Lovely and its Top Ten UK hit single, Crash. They would have more charting singles over the course of the next four years, releasing two further albums before disbanding in 1992.They reformed in 2009 and have since released two albums and a handful of singles.
