New split 7" from Teenage Bottlerocket & The Queers: each band takes on a song from the other's catalog and reworks it in their own style.

The new split 7" from Teenage Bottlerocket and The Queers brings a simple but effective concept: each band takes on a song from the other's catalog and reworks it in their own style. The result is a direct exchange between two long-running punk acts with distinct approaches shaped over decades of recording and touring. Teenage Bottlerocket contribute a version of "Teenage Bonehead," originally by The Queers. On the other side, The Queers reinterpret "Bloodbath At Burger King," renaming it "Hoglog at Burger King." The change in title reflects their sense of humor while the performance leans into their own style, offering a contrast in tone and execution from the original. Both bands have extensive catalogs and histories within punk, and this release highlights how their songwriting holds up when filtered through a different perspective. It also underscores the shared lineage between the two, with influences and themes that overlap while still allowing room for variation. The record is released as a split label effort with Pirates Press Records. This split is a focused release with a clear concept, offering two tracks that revisit familiar material without simply repeating it.
