The album is full of the heart pounding infusion of old school R&B, soul, funk and rock that St. Paul and The Broken Bones have built their reputation on. The major theme of the album is commentary on society and addresses current social issues, including a challenge to gender with a song called 'I'll Be Your Woman.'
