Hong Kong's premier ska band The Red Stripes have been playing to audiences all over Asia for the past thirteen years, their brand of vintage era ska is created by a 10 piece band hailing originally from the UK, Canada and Australia. They have performed at top events in Hong Kong and as backing to Neville Staple and Roddy Radiation of The Specials, and supported Roy Ellis, Keith and Tex, The Toasters, The Skatalites, and Johnny Osbourne amongst others. The band has been featured on Specialized Records tributes to Trojan and 2 Tone, and Ska Cares released by the Supernova Ska Festival. The band returned to Avon Studios to record their latest album, and with King Zepha once again at the helm creating their biggest sound yet adding rootsy dub, tropical sunshine reggae, uptempo 2-Tone, Northern Soul and scorching 60's ska - all with rotating male and female vocals.
