The second solo album by Pollio, founding member and frontman of the alternative rock band Io?Drama. On this record, Pollio's language is instinctive, emotional, restless. A form of songwriting that begins on the page but then takes shape, gets it's hands dirty, becomes physical. The production is alive, direct, and contemporary, yet it wears a '70s suit: it favors sonic material, dynamics, and vital imperfection over sterile precision. The lyrics are urgent and personal: they speak of inner upheavals, doubts, adult love, and the paradoxes of our time. Pollio sings them with a rough, carnal voice, interpreting nothing other than his own urgent need for expression.
