Sheffield based singer and lyricist Aziza Jaye and Glasgow producers Mungo's Hi Fi boldly yet respectfully reimagine Lauryn Hill's classic That Thing in a reggae style. Showcasing the same versatility, moving between reggae, soul and hip hop that Hill has exemplified in her career, the new version includes adapted verses drawn from Aziza Jaye's own life experiences. Mungo's have seamlessly transposed the song to a piano led one drop reggae rhythm, packed with all the organic warmth and modern punch that the original brought back in 1997. The music is given free rein on the shimmering propulsive dub mix, That Dub. That Thing and That Dub are out now on 7-inch single.
