The second album from MaidaVale follows their debut with a more upfront and atmospheric sound, yet keeps the distinguished groove that is characteristic for the band. The work with producer Jari Haapalainen have led MaidaVale further down the kraut and experimental path. The strong melodic and psychedelic elements from their debut is still present as the foundation on Madness Is Too Pure.
