One would be hard pressed to find a better example of the hormone-enriched, attitude-laden 1960s garage rock opus than 'So What!!' by San Diego's Lyrics. Chris Gaylord's incredible rant over a pounding, almost blueswailing accompaniment on this late 1965 nugget never fails to hit the spot. Coupled with it's equally snotty flip 'They Can't Hurt Me', this double-whammy firebomb is an exasperatingly expensive item in it's original incarnation, but we have made this great sound facsimile available at a fraction of the cost to accompany the new Big Beat garage psych collection "Blow My Mind!".
