Living Death Worlds' Neuroses
Living Death - „Worlds Neuroses†LP + CD (with printed inlay) -Living Death are considered one of the first speed metal bands from Germany, founded in 1981 -First vinyl re-release since the original 1989 edition -Remastered especially for vinyl and CD -Produced by Ralph Hubert (Mekong Delta) When it comes to German speed and thrash metal, it doesn‘t take long for the name Living Death to come up. Old fans react as euphoric as the younger generation, who got to know the band maybe only through re-releases, but certainly through the internet. The first two albums can be classified as early speed metal and offer an equally high dose of traditional heavy metal. The following EP and the album „Protected From Reality“ show the band rooted in thrash metal, which was also possible due to drummer Atomic Steif joining Living Death from Violent Force. „Worlds Neuroses“ was then the last album with singer Toto and was not received positively everywhere when it was released in 1989. A phenomenon, because basically this record bundles the best features of the aforementioned phases of the band and also offers a much more varied vocal work. Just a few months later, the face of heavy metal changed quite significantly, but with a changed lineup, there is still a last album in 1991. Over the years it has become apparent that „Worlds Neuroses“, despite clearly structured songs, simply took a bit longer to earn a certain status in German metal history and that the disc has more to offer than the two thrash treats „Last Birthday“ and the title track. Intelligently arranged, very powerful metal pieces like „The Testament Of Mr. George“ also offer entertaining stories as lyrics. In addition, this is clearly the best sounding LP/CD by Living Death. The long overdue vinyl re-release includes a bonus CD (instead of a download code) and a printed inlay. LP and CD each got a separate remastering.
