Light Dweller is an American blackened death metal project founded in December 2017 by Cameron Boesch in Phoenix, AZ. After seven years and four full-length albums, Light Dweller will partner with Avantgarde Music's death metal division, Unorthodox Emanations, to release its fifth album, The Subjugate, in February 2025.

Inspired by a broad spectrum of dissonant and melodic influences -- Cosmic Putrefaction, Defacement, Mesarthim, Convulsing, Violet Cold, Mare Cognitum, and more -- Light Dweller has forged a unique path through the darker, more obscure realms of metal. With each release, the project has evolved, skillfully weaving dissonance with melody, and balancing intense aggression with haunting, introspective passages.

The Subjugate spans six tracks, entirely written, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Boesch, the band's sole member. The songs delve into themes of death, purgatory, and the cessation of time, presenting a cohesive journey through these concepts.

Light Dweller's new studio album will see the light via Avantgarde Music's Unorthodox Emanations on April 11th, 2025 on CD, LP and digital.
