Diane Warren wrote the original version of the song, with English-language lyrics, specifically for the film The Life Ahead, directed by Edoardo Ponti and starring Sophia Loren. Laura translated the song in Italian with her frequent collaborator Niccolò Agliardi. This special vinyl edition includes the 6 available versions of the single (in Italian, English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and the Italian/English version) Laura wanted to release in order to spread the message of the song and the movie as far as possible.
