It was in Brussels in 1983 that La Muerte was formed. Musically, the group quickly found it's place, being quickly compared to Birthday Party or The Stooges. They conveyed a substantial extreme image, 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, inspired by both the great classics of rock'n'roll and by genre cinema, from Salvator Dali to Kenneth Anger via Blake Edwards. La Muerte quickly became a cult band and a reference of Belgian underground rock.
