Koh Morota Sei shi

'The only solo album by Koh Morota (ex-DOOM), a bass prodigy who wields a fretless bass, originally released in 1997, is being reissued in a long-awaited analog reissue, following a remastered CD reissue in 2024! This album, produced with Satoshi Mishiba and Ikuo Kakehashi, is an all-instrumental, genre-less work in contrast to the ghoulish playing heard on DOOM, with a warm, supple, undulating bass line that is very beautiful. The remastering has improved the separation of each instrument, and the result is a massive and majestic sound space that transcends genres. This is a work that should be enjoyed not only by DOOM fans, but also by many other music fans.
