Jr. Rev. Martin Luther King Why I Oppose The War In Vietnam
Motown Records' Black Forum started with a bang when the new label released "Why I Oppose the War in Vietnam" as its first album in 1970. Originally recorded in April 1967 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, "Why I Oppose the War in Vietnam" was one of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s last and most important speeches. Ultimately, the release won a GRAMMY Award for Best Spoken Word Album in 1971 and is being re-issued on vinyl for the first time since 1970.
