STUDIO KONZERT is the audiophile Direct-To-2-Track fully analogue recorded concert series, produced by the Bauer Studios since early 2013 and available in shops as numbered and limited 180g vinyl records with a premium-quality packaging. As soon as a drummer holds the imaginary conductor's rod in his hand the asthetic of music changes. More organic, more complex, more balanced. Often, these drumming-playing multi-talented musicians can even compose. The prototype of this modern type of jazz musician is Jens Düppe form Cologne, Germany. A brooding fine and free spirit who knows how to give shape to his own fantasies with equally fine hands. Above all because of his explicit openness Jens Düppe is described in the media as one of the most innovative representatives of improvised music in this country. As a jazz drummer and composer he draws from a broad musical experience, his career is influenced by legends such as Albert Mangelsdorff or Kenny Werner. Düppe has gathered musicians who not only in the musical sense perfectly harmonize with each other and know each other well from many years together on stage. Frederik Köster on the trumpet, Lars Duppler on the piano and Christian Ramond on the bass are Düppe's companions and inspirators. Each of them has developed a very individual variety of sounds, which Düppe has explicitly addressed when composing each piece. The result is an unmistakable sound as a band, which evolved in nearly ten years of playing together.
