Alexander Hacke is a founding member of the cult German band Einstürzende Neubauten, with whom he still performs and releases new music. He was also a member of Crime & The City Solution from 1987 onwards (including 2013’s Mute release, American Twilight). Danielle de Picciotto was born in Washington State and has resided in Berlin since 1987. She works as an interdisciplinary artist in the fields of music, art, film, literature and performance and was the co-founder of Berlin’s legendary Love Parade. Their new album, The Silver Threshold, is a perfect summation of Hacke and de Picciotto's collaborative work thus far.
