Francoise Fabian L'Heure D'un Rendez-Vous
Françoise Fabian, who has been passionate about French chanson from an early age, released her 1st self-titled album in 2018. A critically and publicly acclaimed album, it confirmed the actress's real talents as a singer and performer. Since then, Françoise has dreamed of one day extending the adventure with other artists. A meeting with Elisa Point and Léonard Lasry, who had recently written songs for Charlotte Rampling, Fanny Ardant and Sylvie Vartan, created a new musical playground, and sparked the desire to make a second album. The songs added up to an intimate, tender and cinematic album. Françoise Fabian's instantly recognizable vocal timbre and phrasing are evident on 10 songs on the album, alternating between the surprisingly intimate moods of "Obscène", "J'étais en enfance" and "Ce grand feu intérieur", and the danceable tempos of Samba ("Tant que je n'y pense pas"), Soft Disco ("Un monde fou"), Tango ("Insomnia") and Cape Verdean ("Pas d'exclusivité"). Françoise Fabian also pays tribute to one of the most memorable films of her career: Michel Deville's "Raphael ou le débauché" (1971) with the song "L'enfer sera mon autre ciel". Finally, she shares the pop ballad "Que savons-nous de nous" in duet with Léonard Lasry, composer and mastermind of the whole project.
