“La Isla Respira” is born from a simple idea: imagining a place that feels alive.
An island that truly breathes, with the wind, the sea, and the sun. A place that is not just physical space, but a living presence, capable of welcoming, transforming, and giving back energy. A place that exists because it is rooted in real memory and lived experience, continuously taking shape and breathing every time you feel it.
This EP is the sonic translation of that imagination, where 90s/2000s house foundations intertwine with latin, tribal, jazz, and funk influences, creating a warm and organic language designed for the dancefloor, but also able to open up to more everyday and free listening contexts.
Across four tracks, Fimiani builds a journey that connects roots and contemporary vision, moving through house grooves, latin rhythms, and arrangements with a more organic and soulful character. Not as a stylistic exercise, but as a natural language: every element feels as if it emerges spontaneously, as if it were part of the island itself.
There is a constant tension between warmth, sensuality, and emotion. The tracks are not only about energy, but about connection: that moment on the dancefloor when people look at each other , smile, and the atmosphere shifts without the need for words.
This EP represents a personal milestone and an artistic evolution. A work that does not build masks, but lets what is real emerge: a sound that lives, breathes, and moves with authenticity.
Rather than something to simply listen to, it is a place to enter.
