Heavily inspired by Jack Lee & The Nerves, "My Advice" packs punchy bass lines, biting guitar and infectious harmonies into a three minute tale about giving unwanted advice. "Out of State Plates" is a soulful albeit playful story about the allure of spotting out of state plates in small-town USA. The song captures the irresistible urge to know–tipping into full-on, overly cautious nosiness.
