Dorio Super Love 3

Dorio is the musical outlet of Texas multi-instrumentalist and producer Chad Doriocourt with songwriting partner Rachel Rascoe. Super Love 3, the project’s third studio album, will be released on label home Earth Libraries. Colorfully elegant indie pop production carries throughout the LP, Dorio applied his affinity for orchestrally-inspired live instrumentation to the cut-and-paste methodology employed across hip-hop and dance music. Aligning those influences, Flood Magazine recently described Dorio’s sound as “an upbeat form of bubblegum-pop and hip-hop percussion that recalls the recent neo-psych output of Stones Throw Records.” The songwriter brought in drummer CJ Eliasen to rework Dorio’s own version of a funky 90s-does-70s beat.
