Deadguy's "Work Ethic" (1994) is a significant release in the hardcore punk and metalcore genres. The EP is noted for its insanely aggro sound and has been influential in shaping the metalcore subgenre according to Decibel magazine. Although the band disbanded in 1997 it reunited in 2021 for select shows and festivals.
