To mark the 40th anniversary of *Dense Band*, Yatak Records is reissuing David Moss's groundbreaking albums *Dense Band* (1985) and *Full House* (1984) in newly remastered editions. Together with avant-garde and Downtown scene icons such as Fred Frith, John Zorn, Arto Lindsay, Christian Marclay, Bill Laswell, and Wayne Horvitz, Moss created an uncompromising sound that bridges noise, improvisation, groove, and experimental song structures. While *Dense Band* combines raw energy with surprisingly danceable rhythms and fuses free improvisation with studio experimentation, *Full House* showcases the radical immediacy of the duo format through short, explosive sound studies.
