Tacoma, Washington, duo the Cutthroat Brothers -- featuring two real-life barbers Jason Cutthroat (vocals, guitar) and Donny Paycheck (drums) -- have been called the Sweeney Todds of punk, and they live up to that billing on their song, Kill 4 U, a seductively murderous cut off their debut album, released earlier this year. The record was produced by Seattle legend Jack Endino, who, of course, worked with Nirvana, Soundgarden and Mudhoney during the salad days of grunge, and more recently has manned the boards for albums by a slew of modern-day heavy hitters including High on Fire, Windhand and Skeletonwitch.
