Gray's debut 5-track EP Sunset Season, which was written by Conan himself, debuted at Billboard #2 Heatseekers Albums & #31 Top Album Sales Charts. The EP includes two of his hit songs "Crush Culture" which peaked #27 Spotify US Viral 50 & "Idle Town" peaking #11 Spotify US Viral 50. "Idle Town" was written, produced & mixed by Conan. Sunset Season received praise from several press outlets; The Roar describes the EP as "[capturing] this dullness of youth in an anything-but-dull, dreamy album."
