Charbel & Tabbal Haber Enfin La Nuit

August 4 2020, Beirut blows up. From the eye of the storm and the ravaged city, Charbel Haber & Fadi Tabbal, two legendary underground musicians from the Middle East (The Bunny Tylers, Scrambled Eggs, Johnny Kafta Anti-Vegetarian Orchestra, Orchestra Omar...) compose Enfin La Nuit, a cosmic and intimate album evoking the orchestrated ambient of Stars of the Lid, as well as the minimalist compositions of Terry Riley or Arvo Pärt. Sonic laments and luminous spleen, it is a requiem for all the fallen bodies, for those, of flesh and stone, of blood and music, who keep on resisting.
