Best known as the former frontman of Chicano Batman, Bardo steps into a bold new chapter with Transformation Time, his debut solo album on Stones Throw. Blending Latin rhythms, funk grooves, indie rock energy, and punk attitude, Bardo crafts a rich, genre-defying sound that reflects both his artistry and his roots. Raised in La Mirada by a Mexican father and Colombian mother, his music draws from a vibrant mix of influences—from '70s and '80s R&B and classic rock to cumbia, vallenato, and salsa. The result is a deeply personal and sonically expansive record that charts his own evolution as an artist.
