Los Angeles dream pop duo Crushed sign to Ghostly International with the first vinyl pressing of their 2023 debut EP, paired with remixes from Real Lies and DJ Python. Pulling from Britpop, trip-hop, and electronica, extra life is the band's love letter to '90s radio. Now they've tapped two favorites for their riffs on the sound. Known for mutations of "deep reggaeton," DJ Python leans into the breakbeats and textures of "milksugar" for an even hazier, atmospheric feel. Extra life standout "waterlily" receives a rave-minded edit from Real Lies. The original crossed melancholic lyricism with dreamy drum breaks, and here the London dance duo enhances both, bumping the tempo into the red, adding their signature club prose overtop.

Deep Sage, Gouge Away's third studio album, started coming together in 2019 during sound checks and in small pockets of downtime between tours. Tierra Whack is a premiere rapper, musician and visual artist who is returning to the scene after a two-year gap in new releases. Demon presents the first official compilation from Tim Burgess celebrating Tim's Listening Party. "I'd done Charlatans listening parties and some solo album listening parties, and as the Twitter followers grew, I'd repeat it and do it again and again. It was maybe about a week before being told that we were going to go into a lockdown before we actually did something. I saw all the TV stuff, all the kind of crazy things that were happening and thought if there's going to be a lockdown, there's going to be something that I can do." As well Tim's Twitter Listening Party, Tim's Listening Party is also a six-part radio and podcast series airing on Sunday nights on Absolute Radio. Available as a 24 track 2LP collection and pressed on green translucent vinyl, this double LP set brings together 24 highlights from the 1,278 Listening Parties that took place. The parties themselves were an eclectic mix of genres and eras, and the compilation reflects that with Suede, The Chemical Brothers, Sparks, The Breeders, The Lovely Eggs, John Grant, Joan As Police Woman and The Charlatans. Within the top 100 listening parties, artists reflected on the compilation include John Lennon, The Libertines, MGMT, Dexys Midnight Runners, The Specials and Belle & Sebastian. The 2LP also includes an interview conducted by Danielle Perry with Tim Burgess, detailing the cultural importance of the Listening Party during lockdown.
